PURSUANT TO SECTION 12-110 OF THE CONNECTICUT STATE STATUTES, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS OF THE TOWN OF SEYMOUR WILL MEET IN THE FLAHERTY CONFRENCE ROOM, SEYMOUR TOWN HALL, 1 FIRST STREET, SEYMOUR, CONNECTICUT ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 AT 6:30 P.M. and THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 AT 6:30 P.M. FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF HEARING APPEALS RELATED TO VEHICLE ASSESSMENTS ON THE 2023 GRAND LIST OF THE TOWN OF SEYMOUR.

An elected board of 3 members that are responsible for hearing any resident who wishes to challenge the amount of any assessment of taxable property.
The board has the authority to increase, decrease or keep the same any value that the Town’s Assessor establishes in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Town of Seymour and the Connecticut General Statues.
